Warner Bros has released a new trailer for missing-persons thrillerPrisoners, in which Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal go on the hunt for the former’s missing daughter.
Jackman plays a devoted family man who finds himself in a waking nightmare when his daughter is abducted, along with the daughter of family friend Terrence Howard.
Gyllenhaal plays the cop charged with solving the case, but when his investigations run dry, Jackman decides to take the law into his own hands.
The new trailer is pretty lengthy on plot details, so if you’d rather keep the story’s twists and turns a mystery, approach with caution.
